Linocut Workshop Part #1 : All ages are welcome! (Family packages available)



As part of our complementary programming for our upcomin solo exhibition, 箱の中/Hako No Naka (“Inside the Box”), we invites you to an exciting hands-on linocut workshop, led by the exhibiting artist, printmaker Palén Obesa.

-10 years & above $50.00

-Family Package #1 : 1 child under 10 years + 1 adult $75.00

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Receive a brief introduction to the art of printmaking and its historical development.

  • Gain insight into Obesa's artistic process and explore her captivating works on display.

  • Learn how to create linocut prints using environmentally friendly and toxic-free materials.

  • Receive step-by-step guidance on preparing a rubber block, carving, inking, and transferring their designs onto paper using traditional methods.

  • Have the opportunity to create a small edition of their linocut block during the class.



No prior experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot today!
